Watering
Border Forsythia is best watered 1-2 times per week, depending on the weather. When it is warm and the soil is drying out quickly, it may need to be watered more often, but during cooler weather it can do with less. It also helps to water in the morning or evening, as this will help reduce evaporation. During especially hot and dry spells, a deep watering each week of about an inch or 2 is ideal, as this will help the plant develop strong roots.
