During the growing season, it should be watered every 2 to 3 weeks, providing 1 to 2 inches (2.5 - 5 cm) of water per application. During drought periods, adding supplemental water is recommended. In the winter season, this plant does not require any supplemental water. When watering, aim the spray nozzle at the base of the shrub, ensuring that the entire root ball receives thorough soaking.
