False indigo (Baptisia 'Carolina Moonlight') needs full sun for optimal growth and performance. If grown in an area with partial shade, the plant may become leggy and have fewer flowers. Additionally, it's best to ensure that the plant is in full sun during the peak of the growing season, from early spring to mid-fall.
